Niger Tornadoes have strengthened their squad ahead of the new season with the signing of five new players.
The Ikon Allah Boys announced the arrival of the new players on their official X account as they continue preparations for the upcoming campaign.
Leading the list of new signings is Moses Amatsaka, who joined the Minna-based club from El-Kanemi Warriors.
The other new additions are Alhassan Mohammad, Abba Yahaya, Badejo Mikel and Joseph Bulus, who were recruited from academies across Niger State.
The signings are expected to provide additional options for Niger Tornadoes as the club looks to build a stronger squad for the new season.
The Minna-based side had a difficult campaign last season, losing some of its key players to other clubs.
Niger Tornadoes eventually avoided relegation on the final day of last season, and the club will be hoping its new recruits can help improve its fortunes in the coming campaign.
The five new players will now join the existing squad as preparations continue, with the club seeking to put last season’s struggles behind it and secure a more competitive campaign.
