The Oyo State Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde Team (TOMT), a formidable grassroots political movement with a strong presence across the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State, held a strategic meeting with the governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Adekanbi, as part of ongoing efforts to deepen collaboration, strengthen the party’s structure, and position the APM for success in the 2027 general elections.
The meeting focused on fostering unity, harmonizing strategies, and reinforcing the collective resolve to build a formidable political structure capable of delivering victory for the APM in 2027. Deliberations centered on grassroots mobilization, effective party organization, and the shared vision of providing purposeful, people-oriented leadership for the good people of Oyo State.
In attendance were the TOMT Grand Patron, Hon. Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin; the TOMT State Coordinator, Hon. Bukola Adeyemi; members of the TOMT State Executive Council; Coordinators from all 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State; and other key stakeholders of the movement.
As a grassroots-driven movement, TOMT reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to strengthening the APM from the ward level to the state level, mobilizing support across communities, and working in unity with all party stakeholders to secure a resounding victory in the 2027 general elections.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by all participants to remain united, focused, and dedicated to advancing the ideals of the Allied People’s Movement while promoting inclusive governance, sustainable development, and a better future for the people of Oyo State.
Together, through unity, grassroots engagement, and unwavering commitment, the future of Oyo State is bright.
