The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has joined family members, friends, political associates and well-wishers to celebrate the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Obafemi Ojo, popularly known as Ijaya, on his birthday.
In a congratulatory message made available through his Head of Media, Aderibigbe Yisahu Ajibola, Olufade described Ojo as a seasoned administrator, accomplished grassroots politician and committed public servant whose experience and dedication have contributed to the success of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration and the development of Oyo State.
Olufade noted that Ojo’s career journey, from his years of service with the Federal Road Safety Commission to his roles as Caretaker and Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Chairman of the Oyo State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), and his current position as Commissioner, reflects his commitment to public service and grassroots development.
The Ibadan North chairman also described Ojo as a humble and dependable leader, commending his wisdom, loyalty and ability to build bridges across political and social divides.
“Hon. Ademola Ojo is not just a political leader; he is a mentor, a bridge builder, and a dependable public servant who has consistently demonstrated loyalty, wisdom, and an uncommon passion for the growth and development of our dear state,” Olufade said.
He further commended the commissioner for his contributions to strengthening local government administration and advancing the interests of traditional institutions across Oyo State, describing his service as valuable and worthy of recognition.
Olufade prayed that Almighty God would bless Ojo with sound health, wisdom, strength, longevity and greater accomplishments in the years ahead, while expressing appreciation for his continued service to humanity and the state.
