The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Akande, has inspected the newly completed Executive Chairman’s Office ahead of its official commissioning, describing the project as a major step toward improving governance and service delivery.

During the inspection on Monday, Hon. Akande toured the facility alongside political appointees, council officials, departmental heads, and members of the media, expressing satisfaction with the quality of work and standard of the completed building.

The newly constructed office complex was built to modern standards to provide a more conducive environment for administrative activities, meetings, and the reception of stakeholders.

The facility features upgraded offices, a conference room, a waiting area, as well as enhanced security and ICT infrastructure designed to improve efficiency and support digital record-keeping.

Speaking during the inspection, Hon. Akande said the project reflects his administration’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and dignified service, noting that both workers and visitors deserve a befitting work environment.

He stressed that the construction of the office did not affect the implementation of other developmental projects, adding that his administration has continued to prioritize healthcare, education, road rehabilitation, and youth empowerment.

Council officials also noted that the building is equipped with modern facilities aimed at easing daily operations, improving administrative processes, and enhancing service delivery to residents.
