Ibadan Southwest Local Government Chairman, Hon. Kehinde Akande, has sent warm birthday felicitations to his Ido LG counterpart, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo. The congratulatory message was released on Monday from the Ibadan Southwest Council Secretariat.
Akande commended Adeojo’s leadership style and his dedication to grassroots governance. He noted that the Ido LG boss has shown consistency, humility in service, and strong resolve to advance the welfare of Ido residents.
In his message, Akande said on behalf of the government and people of Ibadan Southwest, he heartily congratulates Adeojo on his birthday. He described Adeojo’s commitment to duty as commendable and worthy of praise.
The chairman emphasized the strategic importance of collaboration between both councils. Ibadan Southwest and Ido share boundaries, markets, and socio-economic interests, making partnership crucial for development.
Akande acknowledged Adeojo’s disposition toward partnership and peaceful coexistence. He said this attitude has strengthened joint efforts by both councils to deliver the dividends of democracy to their constituents.
He also recognized Adeojo’s focus since assuming office. Key areas highlighted include rural infrastructure development, improved healthcare delivery, and inclusion of youths in governance.
Akande prayed for the celebrant’s continued good health, wisdom, and success in office. He described Adeojo as a good brother and asked Allah to grant him more years, sound health, and greater capacity to serve Ido people.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo is currently serving his first term as Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government. He has been recognized for ongoing projects in primary healthcare, road rehabilitation, and community engagement across the council.
