The Director of Youth Mobilisation of the Makinde/Adekanmbi Campaign Organisation, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, has appealed to youths in Bodija, Ibadan, to support the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Bolarinwa made the call during a consultation with members of the Bodija Youths Movement, where he engaged the youths on the need for active participation in the political process and the importance of supporting candidates with a commitment to development.
He urged the youths to support APM candidates across all levels of the 2027 elections, including the presidential, senatorial, House of Representatives, governorship and State House of Assembly contests.
According to him, the participation and support of young people would be critical to determining the direction of governance in Oyo State and Nigeria, urging the youths to take ownership of the electoral process.
Bolarinwa assured the youths that the developmental strides recorded in Oyo State would not only be sustained under an APM administration but would also be expanded to benefit more residents and communities.
He said the campaign organisation would continue to engage youths and other stakeholders across communities, noting that regular consultation was necessary to understand the concerns and aspirations of the people.
Responding, members of the Bodija Youths Movement appreciated Bolarinwa for reaching out to them and for recognising the importance of youth participation in politics and governance.
The youths pledged their support for the APM and its candidates ahead of the 2027 polls, while expressing optimism that continued engagement between political leaders and grassroots stakeholders would contribute to the development of Oyo State.
