The Oyo State Government, through the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development (AYD), has announced the distribution of thousands of free tickets to youths across the state ahead of the much-anticipated Fola Homecoming Concert in Ibadan.
The initiative, according to the Agency, is aimed at promoting youth engagement, entertainment and greater participation in Oyo State’s growing creative and entertainment ecosystem. Interested youths will have access to both Regular and VIP tickets.
The Agency explained that beneficiaries will receive a unique access code, which they will use on the designated online ticket platform to complete the process of obtaining their free tickets.
To collect the access code, interested youths are required to visit the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, located beside the Ministry of Finance at the Secretariat, Ibadan, on Saturday, October 3, 2026.
The distribution of the access codes will commence at 10:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 noon. Youths interested in attending the concert have therefore been encouraged to arrive at the venue within the stipulated period to secure their codes.
After collecting their access codes, beneficiaries will proceed online and use the codes to access their allocated Regular or VIP tickets at no cost.
The Fola Homecoming Concert is expected to attract music lovers, young people, entertainment stakeholders and members of the public. The free-ticket initiative is designed to broaden youth participation and give more young people the opportunity to attend the entertainment event.
