Hon. Bello Waliy Oladimeji Oluyedun, has formally declared his intention to contest for the councillorship position representing Ward 5 in Ibadan South-West Local Government Area ahead of the 2026 local government elections.

 

In a statement addressed to residents of the ward, Oluyedun expressed gratitude for the support he has received over the years and pledged to provide effective representation if elected. He said his decision to join the race was driven by a desire to serve the people and contribute to the development of the ward.

 

The aspirant described himself as a passionate and committed young leader determined to be the voice of the people at the grassroots. According to him, his priorities include promoting community development, empowering young people and ensuring that the interests of Ward 5 residents are adequately represented in government.

 

Oluyedun appealed to residents for their prayers, support and votes, assuring them of his readiness and capability to deliver quality representation. He urged the people of the ward to join him in building a more prosperous and progressive community.
