Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has appointed Honourable Olatoye Olajide Olusina as Executive Assistant on Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA), with immediate effect.
The appointment was announced in a press release signed by Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, on July 3, 2026.
According to the release, the appointment letter was signed by the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, PhD. Hon. Olatoye is a former member of the Governing Council of Michael Adeniyi Koleosho Polytechnic, Saki.
Governor Makinde, while congratulating the new Executive Assistant, charged him to carry out his duties with dedication, commitment, and loyalty to Oyo State.
As Executive Assistant on BESDA, Hon. Olatoye will be expected to drive the state’s efforts under the federal government’s Better Education Service Delivery for All programme, which focuses on improving access, equity, and quality in basic education.
The BESDA initiative targets out-of-school children, literacy, and strengthening education delivery systems at the state and local government levels.
